2-Pocket Card Fold Wallet (measures 4.25" x 2.75" folded)

Printable 8.5" x 11" cardstock/paper

Materials:
Firmer temper leather works best for an unlined / non- reinforced version of this design.
Recommended leather thickness:
• Firm: pockets 2.0-3.0 oz, exterior 3.0-4.0 oz
• Medium-Firm: pockets 2.5-3.5 oz, exterior 4.0-5.0 oz
Preparation – Cut the following leather pieces:
• Two: Pocket
• One: Exterior Panel
Assembly
1. (Optional) Finish bevel and burnish, or paint the top edge of the pocket pieces
2. Glue the pocket pieces to the flesh side of the exterior panel
a. Glue line width recommendation: about 3/16” along the side and bottom edges of the pocket piece
3. Trim/sand any areas where the pieces may be stacked unevenly
4. Sew everything together
a. The path of the stitch lines should roughly follow the edge. You may also choose to sew one continuous line along the perimeter of the exterior panel.
5. (Optional) Finish bevel and burnish, or paint the edges
